Extra Point:Parting ways with Nedney is tough, he's been money since joining the team, and solidified a major area of need for them. As he was getting older, and injuries began to creep up, and depth on kickoffs were not quite as good - it makes sense that the team jumped on the chance to get a slightly younger, yet very experienced kicker in Akers.
