Saturday’s preseason game against the Oakland Raiders may not mean a whole lot in the larger scheme of things for the 49ers, but for certain players it could mean everything.

Here are five players who need to have good performances …

Extra Point:
This view point is right on. Davis and Rachal are huge question marks at the moment - and the defensive backfield needs to get healthy and up to speed fast. I think Norris has less to lose. Gore likes running behind him, Rathman likely loves his smash mouth ability. Unless Miller has come on THAT strongly, Norris is likely safe. Ginn is a big time bubble guy - quite frankly I'm surprised the team did not try and move him after signing Braylon Edwards.
