Detroit has 20. So does Cincinnati and the New York Giants. The Rams have 21. All told, 479 players are scheduled to become unrestricted free agents when the new league year begins March 13.

Since the cap is not increasing this offseason, I expect that many players will want 1 year contracts so that they are available to cash in next year. That was the plan for many players last offseason, but bargaining left the cap as is for this year.
