49ers UDFA signings



Although the 49ers added Isaiah Winstead to their UDFA list today, earlier this week the team filled 11 roster spots this way. …

Isaiah Winstead as a WR deserved his own article, which you can read here. The run down of the others is below... and there are some exciting prospects in the bunch.

Although the 49ers ignored the offensive line in the draft, they were not strangers to the position with UDFA's. They added 3, including Joey Fisher who garnered what is likely the 49ers largest UDFA OL contract ever. Fisher is mature at 26 years old, having taken a hiatus during his collegae career to work with this father. He has a really interseting chance of making the roster.

The team also signed a jack of all trades: Jack Colletto. A likely roster candidate he is easily the most versatile player in the draft having played FB/LB/QB/RB/TE/ST. The 49ers need some depth behing Kittle, Juice, and Deebo of "do it all players". Colleto will likely sneak onto the roster because of this versatility.

Ronald Awatt, RB, Texas-El Paso: Awatt is a 5'11", 205-pound running back who rushed for 1,025 yards and 11 touchdowns during his college career. He'll compete for a spot on the 49ers' running back depth chart.

Jack Colletto, FB, Oregon State: Colletto is a 6'3", 237-pound fullback who also played quarterback and tight end during his college career. He'll compete for a spot on the 49ers' fullback depth chart.

Joey Fisher, OL, Shepherd: Fisher is a 6'4", 296-pound offensive lineman who was a three-year starter for Shepherd. He'll compete for a spot on the 49ers' offensive line depth chart.

D'Shawn Jamison, CB, Texas: Jamison is a 5'9", 185-pound cornerback who recorded 104 tackles, six interceptions, and 22 pass breakups during his college career. He'll compete for a spot on the 49ers' cornerback depth chart.

Khalan Laborn, RB, Marshall: Laborn is a 5'10", 204-pound running back who rushed for 1,617 yards and 13 touchdowns during his college career. He'll compete for a spot on the 49ers' running back depth chart.

Corey Luciano, OL, Washington: Luciano is a 6'4", 307-pound offensive lineman who started 20 games for Washington during his college career. He'll compete for a spot on the 49ers' offensive line depth chart.

Ilm Manning, OL, Hawaii: Manning is a 6'2", 294-pound offensive lineman who was a two-year starter for Hawaii. He'll compete for a spot on the 49ers' offensive line depth chart.

Mariano Sori-Marin, LB, Minnesota: Sori-Marin is a 6'2", 236-pound linebacker who recorded 203 tackles, six tackles for loss, and two interceptions during his college career. He'll compete for a spot on the 49ers' linebacker depth chart.

Spencer Waege, DL, North Dakota State: Waege is a 6'5", 295-pound defensive lineman who recorded 53 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks during his college career. He'll compete for a spot on the 49ers' defensive line depth chart.

Shae Wyatt, WR, Tulane: Wyatt is a 6'0", 188-pound wide receiver who caught 43 passes for 572 yards and three touchdowns during his college career. He'll compete for a spot on the 49ers' wide receiver depth chart.

Avery Young, S, Rutgers: Young is a 6'0", 198-pound safety who recorded 180 tackles, six interceptions, and 16 pass breakups during his college career. He'll compete for a spot on the 49ers' safety depth chart.
