49ers to promote DL Jerod-Eddie to 53-man roster



The 49ers today will promote defensive lineman Tony Jerod-Eddie, not one of their wide receivers, from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. The roster spot will open up…

Mario Manningham on the injured reserve... not good. An additional roster spot being used on the defensive line makes sense, but the team could still use a place kicker.
