With Kyle Williams out for the year and Kendall Hunter's status uncertain, there could be some fresh legs seeing more action for the 49ers, including wide receiver A.J. Jenkins and running back LaMichael James.… Extra Point:
Obviously, Harbaugh had good things to say about rookies AJ Jenkins and LaMichael James. The two are expected to be active for the first time this season in place of Williams and Hunter. Reality is though that they may not see much if any play time. Both receiver and running back spots have considerable depth... so it may only be special teams where they get on the field. If Williams is put on the injured reserve, I have to wonder if the team will fill his roster spot with a place kicker.
