I don't know where exactly Harbaugh fits in the history of rookie coaches - even after reading this summary article, it's hard to place him with a certain spot. That being said, there was one tidbit of information I think was crucial. John took Baltimore to the AFC Championship Game in his first year (2008) after an 11-5 regular season. Jim is about as competitive a guy as you can get, and his bro had his number earlier in the season. Think there might be some motivation to get further - and maybe a chance at beating them in The Big One?
