Why did the Cardinals have such a handle on the 49ers ' offense in the second half of their 21-19 win over San Francisco on Sunday? And what about those red-zone issues? Is it the players? The play-calling? And why… Extra Point:
Red Zone and short yardage situations continue to plague this team, as it has in years. Some people think Smith can't make the decisions fast enough, I think that may be somewhat of an issue - but a bigger issue is the play calling in these situations. Formations seem to always be tight which allows the defenses to make tight situations even tighter, and limits Smith's options. When on designed roll outs Smith has done better in these situations because he has more options.
