49ers get taste of Youngstown, expect to benefit from adjustment to Eastern time zone

The 49ers are not difficult to find on their five-day stopover between their season opening games in Tampa and Cincinnati. Exit U.S. Route 422 at Madison Avenue just north of downtown, and there they can be found practicing on a …



Extra Point:
the 49ers have been able to benefit from staying on the East coast in back-to-back games this is largely because the ownership is from Youngstown Ohio. It's quite close to the teams next game in Cincinnati. The intent is to help the team acclimate to Eastern Standard Time. given that it's 3 hours earlier on the East coast. If their body clocks didn't have a chance to adjust to the time change it would feel like they are playing early in the morning as opposed to the afternoon the different should allow them to focus more.
