Glenn Dorsey was the No. 5 overall pick in 2008, and while many consider him a bust, the 49ers want him to be the kind of player he was with K.C.

Glenn Dorsey has not really stood out this summer. There is a clear drop off between he and Williams - but Dorsey does have the advantage of being a bit more flexible in where he lines up. The Niners may be able to better utilize Dorsey when they line up in a 4-3 rather than in the middle of the 3-4.
