49ers announce roster cuts

The 49ers just announced they have cut the following 21 players:

T Carter Bykowski, WR Austin Collie, CB Marcus Cooper, TE MarQueis Gray, WR Chad Hall, RB Jewel Hampton, WR Lavelle Hawkins, LB Joe Holland, WR Chuck Jacobs, LS Brian …

Extra Point:
I'm not sure why the team is so high on Jerod-Eddie. I'm also a bit surprised the team went so heavy at line backer. Stupar, and Moody are among the others that were serious bubble players... I would have thought keeping a DB like Michael Thomas or Trenton Robinson would have been a better play. Craig Dahl makes the roster as insurance against Whitner ofr next year, but I'm surprised that he did because Spillman was awesome this summer.

More changes to come for sure as players come back from injury, as the team looks over the waiver wire, and as some players come back from suspension.
