We’ve seen some incredible football games this playoffs. Perhaps none more so than the Packers / Seahawks in overtime. Odds makers have you covered for the Super Bowl view now all the NFL odds and news at Sportbet.com. …
as you try and make sense of this crazy, crazy season. One thing has become certain. The NFL is not a pure league. Officiating has taken another step in the absolute wrong direction - and games, some of the biggest games even, are being decided by poor officiating. The 49ers have been taken to task by officials before, some would argue they could have been in three consecutive Super Bowls if not for the officiating. Reality is starting to sync in though... the officials may just be this bad most of the time - not just against our beloved franchise.
The Packers, the Cowboys, the Bengals... does it really matter any more? I used to think there was an East Coast bias, a Big Team bias, or who knows what? Now I think it's less about bias officiating, and more about really poor officiating.
Something has to be done. The NFL needs to review its rule book. Make it simple. Remove the grey areas, and make interpretation understood across the board. Then they need to change the way they evaluate and compensate the Zebras. Only then may purity be restored to this game. I just hope it won't be too late.
