There might have been plenty of non-football reasons for Colin Kaepernick and his representatives to request permission to seek a trade in the offseason. But there also appears to be one football reason why it is not the worst thing…
Extra Point:
Obviously it's great to see Kap back on the field practising... speaking to the media... and acting like the starting quarterback of the team. His biggest obstacle though, might be getting his body back in football shape. All the images of him show a downright lanky guy instead of the physical specimen that he was known to be. I can fully see him taking one bad hit, and being out for the season. Oh yah... and it may not be so easy to win over the locker room either... you know, after completely bailing on them and asking for a trade.
