It was a quiet day at the ‘Stick on Sunday as the 49ers attempted unsuccessfully to blow a 21-point lead. That the fans were more into it on the Seahawks final possession, than they were the entire game was quite disappointing. Normally when watching a game you can here the fans, in the past few weeks, we heard them boo, but at least we heard them.

In this weeks telecast, aside from Pat Summerall brutalizing the art form known as football commentary / play-by-play, there was almost nothing to be heard. Truly disappointing.

After the 49ers forced the first two three and outs, no cheers. It stayed like that for most of the game. Apparently the fans are as deflated as the team, which is truly unfortunate considering the impact fans can have on the game, and the energy of the players.

The 49ers head to Dallas to take on the Cowboys this week. 49ers Fans get a break from the lulled atmosphere, and will hopefully be back roaring the following week when the Packers come to town. The 49ers after all, are just one game away from re-capturing their crown at the top of the NFC West.

Talk about it in the 49ers Paradise Forum
