The 49ers are constantly looking to improve their team, so it should come as no surprise really that they had five players in for a workout on Tuesday, including four defensive players.
The list includes 13-year veteran cornerback Chris Oldham, but the most interesting prospect may actually be Keon Moore, another cornerback that has great size, and strength.
Also working out was defensive end Ronald Felmons and linebacker Jamal White. Neither of whom have any real significant play time in the NFL. Blaine Saipaia, a center was also in for a workout - but the 49ers are actually quite deep at center. Blaine was in attendance at the 49ers training camp, but was injured at the time.
The 49ers are scrambling for depth, but its not like they have players that they can cut on their roster. It would take a real strong performance from any of these guys to make it onto the roster at this point in the season.
