The medical report for the 49ers continues to grow. The list now includes fifteen different players, many of who are injured in more than one part of their bodies.

Eric Heitmann broke his hand and will undergo surgery early this week. The 49ers expect Heitmann to play with a cast on his arm.

Ahmed Plummer who has been battling an ankle injury was having a great game until he pulled his groin with two minutes to go in the game. Plummer is day to day, but groin injuries linger, and this one will be hard to overcome.

Garrison Hearst did not play in the second half of the game. Hearst hyper extended his knee and while he’s expected to play this weekend, he’ll likely share the load with whoever is available.

Return man Jimmy Williams damaged his knee. Williams damaged both his MCL and ACL and will undergo surgery. He’ll need four to five months of rehab before he can return to the field.

Andre Carter aggravated an upper arm injury. It is believed to be minor, and Carters is expected to play this Sunday.

Cornelius Anthony suffered a concussion, and the 49ers do expect him to be available for Sunday.

Place kicker Jeff Chandler is still battling a hip flexor injury that hindered his range against the Cowboys.

John Keith continues to nurse his broken thumb. He did not seem to injure it any further on Sunday.

Tony Parrish will continue to play while his dislocated elbow heels. Parrish recorded two interceptions with the injury.

The 49ers are hoping to get Ronnie Heard back this week. The safety has been out since November 25th, and the 49ers would love to be able to add another healthy defender to their defensive backfield.

Saleem Rasheed can now rehabilitate properly with Ramadan ending. The 49ers really want to get the speedy linebacker back on the field.

Derrick Deese took a week off to nurse a really sore ankle. It’s undetermined at this point as to whether or not he’ll play.

Running back Kevan Barlow may still be a week or so from returning to the game. The 49ers may try and get him back a little early considering the injury to Garrison Hearst.

Safety Zack Bronson may get back to practicing this week. He and linebacker Jamie Winborn are out indefinitely, and are two players the 49ers have been craving to get back into their lineup. Winborn is set to undergo surgery this week, and the team doctors have reported that he will need three weeks to recover after the surgery.
