Running back Garrison Hearst, and receiver Terrell Owens returned to the practice field for the 49ers. Both players have been nursing injuries for two weeks now, and both players managed to play last week against the Cardinals. Garrison Hearst had to leave the game, but Terrell Owens played right through to the final snap.

Hearst’s hamstring injury is in better condition than it was last week. He is expecting to play with a little bit of pain, after averaging seven yards a carry against the Cardinals. Still, expect a healthy burst from Kevan Barlow to help Hearst stay fresh.

Terrell Owens had a MRI on his bruised heel this week. The team learned nothing new from the results, and have been actively resting him. Owens is expected to play against the Raiders, and will try and show off for a mentor of his - Jerry Rice.

The 49ers will depend heavily on these two offensive talents, and likely will look to both them early to help dismantle the Raiders. Owens will be matched up for most of the game against cornerback Charles Woodson who is returning to the field from a shoulder injury.
