The 49ers coaches did an excellent job this week, especially late in the game. Steve Mariucci made some crucial half time adjustments that allowed the 49ers to win the game, despite crazy injuries. He and Knapp also combined for a few great series of play calling at the end of the game, that were executed to near perfection.

Jim Mora Jr. turned up his game plan shifting defensive players all over the field and bringing constant pressure on the Cowboys quarterback. The result, was a banged up defense that was able to over come some special teams woes in order to put the offense in a position to win the game.

The special teams performance was ugly, as Bruce DeHaven continues to be unimpressive with coverage schemes. His unit was really the only one that performed brutally this weekend.

The coaching staff have somehow managed to take a beat up team, that is really performing below their capabilities, and won the NFC West title. They still have a tough three games to play in order to try and secure the best possible seeding in the playoffs. A win this coming weekend against Green Bay, is what this coaching staff has to prepare a hurting team to do.

Talk about it in the 49ers Paradise Forum
