Arm length has been a signature of what Baalke looks for. Why? because he believes it gives the player an advantage with leverage, with getting to the ball, with just about everything. I'm not so certain any single part of a player can be directly correlated to their on-field performance, but so far at least, this signature has certainly helped more than hurt.
