The 49ers coaches and players have been undermined by the worst management in football. Forget about Jim Harbaugh and this Super Bowl calibre coaches for a minute... I know, I'm having a hard time forgetting too... but let's look at Tight End, where the team kept an unproductive Vance McDonald and traded Derek Carrier who out performed McDonald all of last year, and in camp this summer. Let's look at punter, where the team let Andy Lee - arguably the best in the game go, in favor of inconsistency. Not enough was done to shore up the defensive backfied for sure.... and the linebackers and defensive line may have average talent compared to the rest of the NFL. Bowman may be an exception to that statement, but it's impossible to see that with the circus around him. Then there is the offensive line. This team continues to ignore the biggest problem. If Kap is scared out of his mind - and clearly he was on Sunday, this team will fall a part. And that's exactly what we are seeing here.
