As the 49ers open their offseason program today, fans are left bewildered. The Super Bowl contending team that seemed to be headed down the right path seems distant in the rear view mirror. The current path seems to be lead by lost ownership, lost management, a newbie coaching staff, an inactive free agent period, and a quarterback controversy. Even if all the Super Bowl talent - or more, was still on the roster (and it isn't, believe me) the odds would be stacked heavily against this team. So... here we are. Kaepernick reports to camp... Denver is still waiting in the wings... if the locker room hasn't turned on Kaepernick yet, it is at best divided... To correct this path will require drastic action. Ladies and gentleman, if the ride last season wasn't tough enough, buckle in.
