WHO'S HURTING

The 49ers will be without wide receivers Arnaz Battle (foot) and Josh Morgan (groin), while tight end and special teams ace Delanie Walker (shoulder) is doubtful. Safety Mark Roman (groin) is questionable. The injuries to Battle and Morgan mean second-year player Jason Hill and rookie Dominique Zeigler will get more playing time, and that's a good thing. For the Rams, starting running back Steven Jackson (thigh) is out. Antonio Pittman, Travis Minor and Kenneth Darby will fill in for him.

I agree that we were a few turnovers from  winning some games against good teams.  But the turnovers have been the one constant this season.  Until we find a QB that can operate in Martz's system without turning over so much, we'll continue to lose.  I thought HIll would be that guy, but I have to have doubt about that following Monday Night.

Having said that, I don't think the TEAM we saw Monday Night loses to the Rams.  The QB might, but I don't think the TEAM will...  The Rams have been all over the map this year - playing well for about 2 games and looking horrible the rest of the time.  We've been a much more consistent team this year.  We need ONE player to play better - they need like 21 players to play better.  We win.

9ers - 31
Rams - 20

I can't wait to read the break down(s) and detailed opinions as I wasn't able to watch the game.
