A two year starter in college, Kosier is another prospect for the 49ers offensive line. Kosier is a tough reliable blocker who uses all of his ability. He started 23 games over his collegiate career. Played both offensive tackle and guard successfully. Was dominant in at least five games his senior season.
Role With 49ers:
Kosier will fight for a roster spot in backing up the offensive line. His versatility will be essential in helping him make the team. The 49ers see Kosier as more of a tackle than a guard from initial reports. The team believes Kosier can be a NFL type player with work from Pat Morris.
Quotes To Note:
Kosier missed spring drills of his senior preseason due to right shoulder surgery. The surgery did not appear to impair him during the season.
