Introducing Offensive Lineman Eric Heitmann:

College: Stanford
Height: ~6'4"
Weight: ~305 lbs

Vertical Jump: ~28 inches
Bench Press: ~420 lbs
Hometown: ~ Brookshire, Texas

College Highlights:
Eric Heitmann was the anchor to Stanford's offensive line. The big man is extremely strong and has the versatility to play guard, center or tackle. He's very athletic and show great footwork. He boasted a string of 34 consecutive starts.

He was very well liked in college by coaches and peers. Dedicated hard worker.

Role With 49ers:
The 49ers will want Heitmann initially as a reserve. He will have to prove healthy, with some concern over his back. The 49ers see his versatility as a key to his future success on the team. They believe he will flourish under the guidance of Pat Morris. He could be being groomed to take over Derek Deese's spot on the line.
